Checkpoint Booth 15-061

Back in 2015, Port Everglades decided to redo all of the security checkpoints for the entire port. They decided to go with the prefabricated aluminum guard booths from Mardan because the aluminum doesn’t rust or deteriorate under high volatile conditions. This particular plaza has multiple guard booths for multiple driving lanes. These booths has included Low E impact resistant glass, one swing door, one sliding door with Dutch service door, pre-wired electrical package, stainless steel counter and wall-mounted HVAC system. The booths were manufactured to meet Broward County’s 170mph hurricane requirements and were approved under the Florida Building Code.
