This security booth is located in Biscayne Bay in Miami, Florida. The Palace Condominium wanted to replace an old guard booth they purchased from Mardan Fabrication over 20 years ago. Although the security booth was still in excellent shape, they wanted a contemporary security booth. They wanted an aesthetic that would match the newly renovated condominium and wanted to make sure that whatever security booth they chose would be able to withstand the highly volatile salt conditions and not rust. That’s why the Mardan prefabricated aluminum custom modern guard house was perfect for this location. They purchased a 6′ x 10′ guard booth with custom overhangs with LED lights in them over each transaction window. Also, they customized the security booth with custom metallic silver exterior paint and reflective hurricane impact resistant glass. The reflective glass is the same impact resistant glass that the main building recently installed. This guard booth also included pre-wired electrical package, wall-mounted HVAC, aluminum non-skid treadplate floor, and workstation for computers etc. This security booth is State of Florida modular building approved to meet High Velocity Hurricane Zone requires of 175mph in Miami-Dade County.
